Costs associated with rotational molding can be significantly less than other processes. During the rotational molding process, material is rotated slowly in a bi-axle rotation. This process has no pressure involved, allowing the molds to be engineered in a simple, cost effective manner. Even though the tooling can be simple, a variety of cost effective, seamless hollow parts can be produced with exceptional wall strength. This can serve as an alternative to parts currently formed with fiberglass, wood, or metal. |
