Design |
| Having years of experience with a variety of rotational molding techniques and materials, North Coast Custom Molding can provide the support needed in designing your tomolded roplastic parts. Our staff has the ability to draw prints from sample parts and adapt them to make your concept a successful project. | |
Tooling (Molds) |
If a new mold is needed, we work together with you and one of our mold makers to make your design a reality. In the case of an existing mold, North Coast can modify the mounting brackets to make the mold compatible with our rotational molding machines. |
| When assembly is required to finish a rotational molded product, North Coast can fully assemble each part and ship directly to you or drop-ship to a designated location. | |
| Foam filling can add stiffness and long term buoyancy to a hollow rotational molded part. North Coast has the ability to foam fill rotomolded parts. We can use both flexible and rigid polyurethane foams. | |

Warning labels and company logos can be added to a rotomolded part by using mold-in graphics. During the rotational molding process the graphic is integrated into the part. Once the rotational molding process is complete, the graphic and the material used will share the same durability. |

Many types of inserts can be rotomolded or incorporated into a part. The inserts are secured inside the mold prior to the rotational molding process. After the parts are rotomolded, the inserts are released from the mold and permanently incorporated in the part. |

Spin Welding is the process of friction welding fittings to rotomolded parts. Threaded inserts, bosses and garden hose threads, just to name a few, are spin weld fittings that can be added to plastic parts after the rotational molding process is complete. These spin weld fittings are available in a variety of sizes. |
